I find myself very fortunate to have worked on one of the greatest epic trilogies in film history, but for many more reasons beyond just being a fan of Tolkien's work. The majority of those reasons involve the people I worked with. I can't begin to say enough about them. This crew committed themselves to their work and each other through hopes of delivering something special to the world. Personally, I feel very much indebted to all those who made my time there educational, comfortable, and enjoyable. All of this gushing of gratitude would be empty indeed if I did not mention the true fellowship formed in the Southerly wing. These guys are nothing short of 'pure genius,' so to them I say thanks and KEEP SINGING! With all of that said, I say without a doubt that we did deliver something special to the world, and my small part can be seen on this page.

My demo reel shows many of the models featured on this page as they are seen in the film. For a shot break down of my reel and other available formats, please visit my demo reel page.

Below are some of the assets I was fortunate enough to work on while at Weta Digital. Many of these models are in my demo reel and can be seen there in context of the film.

GREAT BEAST YOKE - The original design of the harness was dropped for various reasons leading to a redesign . A sketch by Alan Lee during a dailies session turned into what you see below.

ORC BRIDGE

ROCKS

MINAS TIRITH - The large corner chunk of a Minas Tirith building was built for a scene that never made it to the film. The idea was that the destroyed parts of Minas Tirith would become ready made trebuchet loads.

MISCELLANEOUS - This Narsil model (Aragorn's reforged sword in ROTK) was to be used during the confrontation with the Mouth of Sauron seen in the extended edition. Please note that I modeled only the highlighted skins on the mumakil tower.
